Overview
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!SWITCH v2.0, a five-day ILT course, includes major updates and follows an updated blueprint. (However, note that this course does not cover all items listed on the blueprint.) Some older topics have been removed or simplified, while several new IPv6 routing topics have been added. The course content has been adapted to Cisco IOS Software Release 15 and technically updated.
Audience Profile
Learners who aim to be network professionals and who have knowledge that is obtained from Cisco CCNA courses.
Prerequisite(s) Recommended
The knowledge and skills that a learner must have before attending this course include the following: Knowledge and skill level equal to Cisco CCNA® certification. Knowledge and experience of the implementation and verification of routing technologies as offered by the ROUTE course or equivalent skills and knowledge. Configuring BGP on Cisco Routers course or equivalent skills and knowledge.
Learning Objectives
Taking ICND1 v2.0 and ICND2 v2.0 (or CCNAX v2.0) is highly recommended. Know how to:
- Configure network fundamentals, including the ability to establish Internet, LAN, and WAN connectivity using both IPv4 and IPv6
- Operate and support a medium-sized LAN that has multiple switches, including VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree functionality
- Troubleshoot IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity issues
- Configure and troubleshoot EIGRP and OSPF, for both IPv4 and IPv6
- Configure devices for SNMP, Syslog, and NetFlow
- Manage network device security, Cisco device configurations, Cisco IOS images, and licenses
